We can all agree that hotdogs and hamburgers are a Memorial day staple, but we want to help you guys take it up a notch. When lettuce tomato and onions aren’t enough, here are a few ideas to make some delicious and unique burgers and hotdogs.
Ultimate Chow Chow Burger
This delicious and extremely flavorful burger gets its name from its star ingredient - Chow Chow! Chow chow is made with a mix of chopped bell peppers, green tomatoes, sweet onions, and cabbage plus some delicious spices for flavor. If you don’t feel like making it yourself we love Mrs. Campbell’s Chow Chow in sweet or hot to throw on top of our hotdogs and hamburgers. You can’t go wrong with this healthy addition!
Pineapple, Bacon, and Teriyaki Hot Dogs
It may sound weird, but if you’re the type of person who loves pineapple on pizza, then you’ve gotta try this flavor combo. Sweet, salty, and savory flavors come together perfectly in the pineapple, bacon, and teriyaki hot dog to create a mouthwatering taste that’ll leave you wanting more.
Spicy Salmon Burger
If you’re in the mood for seafood but in a sandwich, we’re all about a spicy salmon burger. Pair a perfectly made salmon burger with lettuce, remoulade sauce, a toasted bun, and VOILA! You have a delightfully simple meal.
Red Wine Hamburger
We call this red wine hamburger the “high-class hamburger” because it’s made with red wine and the richest, most delicious ingredients. Topped with red wine caramelized onions and melted cheese and spiked with a red wine reduction, it’s as rich and delicious as it gets.
Banh-Mi Hot Dog
If there was a crisp and refreshing hot dog award, the Banh-Mi Hot Dog would be the winner. We like to think this hot dog is healthy because of the ingredients: Sriracha mayo, jalapeño, pickled carrots, and cilantro. Chop up a few of these veggies and just like that, you have an easy and unique hot dog. The best part is the creamy and spicy sriracha mayo on top that we can never get enough of!
Mexican Hot Dogs
The Mexican Hot Dog is basically a hot dog and taco that collided and created the best combo ever. Complete with a juicy grilled hot dog, toasty bun, and all your favorite taco toppings such as diced tomatoes, red onion, and creamy guacamole. Truly the best of both worlds!
