It's hard to remember a time before frozen cauliflower pizza crusts were as ubiquitous in the frozen food aisle as their doughy counterparts. Today, you can walk into almost any grocery store and see a number of frozen cauliflower pizza crust options. We are huge fans of the cauliflower pizza crusts over here at WREN Home, especially for those with food allergies or health issues necessitating dietary changes! Healthy cooking has the rep of being bland or tasteless, so we put together a quick '' easy cauliflower pizza recipe so yummy that even the most judgemental pizza eaters will be circling back for seconds. Check out the recipe below:
Ingredients
1 Pre-Made, Frozen Cauliflower Pizza Crust
- REAL GOOD FOODS Cauliflower Crust, $6 for 2
- GREEN GIANT Cauliflower Pizza Crust
- We like these Frozen Cauliflower Pizza options, but any pre-made crusts that you find in the frozen foods aisle will work perfectly for this recipe!
1 TB of Pesto
1/2 cup of spinach
1/2 cup of bacon bits
1/2 sliced artichoke hearts
1/2 cup grated mozzarella
1/3 cup goat cheese
Salt & Paper to Taste
Recipe
Set Oven to Pre-Bake for 350 degrees
Coat both sides of the pre-made cauliflower pizza crust with olive oil and bake in the oven for 5-7 min (depending on desired crispness)
Hint - Use a perforated pan or put the crust right on the oven rack for extra crispiness!
Remove from oven and coat top with 1TB of pesto
Layer fresh spinach, pimentos, crispy bacon bits, sliced artichoke hearts, grated mozzarella, and goat cheese on top. Have fun with the toppings; add more or less, depending on your preferences!
Bake for 8-10 minutes
Broil for 1-3 minutes if you like your extra pizza crispy.
Remove from oven, let cool for a few minutes and enjoy!
